Chocolate Bread Rolls
Ingredients:
Bread Dough:
240 g Bread Flour
60 g Cake Flour
30 g White Sugar
5 g Salt
1 Egg
10 g Milk
150 ml Water
6 g Dry Yeast
30 g Butter
Filling:
Bar of Chocolate, sliced into strips
Instructions:
Line baking tray with wax paper.
In a medium bowl, add-in bread flour, cake flour, sugar, and salt. Mix to combine.
Crack-in the egg, and add-in the milk, water, and yeast. Mix thoroughly until a dough forms.
Add the butter, and knead until the dough is not so sticky anymore.
Place in an oiled bowl, and cover with a plastic wrap. Let rise in a warm spot for one hour.
When the dough is ready, deflate it on a floured surface.
Cut the dough into 10 equal pieces, and roll each piece into an oval shape, big enough for your chocolate.
Place the chocolate almost on the edge of one side, and cut the other side into strips; then fold over and tuck underneath.
Place on a lined baking tray.
Cover the bread rolls loosely with plastic wrap, and let rest in warm spot for about 45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 175°C.
Bake the bread rolls for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Note:
Before serving, heat up 10 seconds in the microwave for a runny chocolate and softer bread.
