Takoyaki Pan 타코야끼팬

Easy to clean-- just wipe, wash, and dry.

This takoyaki pan is ideal use for baked donut holes, cake pops, and pancake balls.

Can be use either on the stovetop or oven only. (Not recommended for tabletop gas cooker!)

Note:

It’s generally not recommended to use takoyaki plates on a tabletop gas cooker, because the plate can trap heat underneath, and potentially damage the cooker surface.

With this pan, you can also make :

1. "Ji Dan Gao" (雞蛋糕) -- cute little egg-shaped cakes, which can also be stuffed with whatever you fancy.

2. Thai "Kranom Krok" -- coconut pudding (which uses rice flour & coconut milk, a bit like atom balik in Malaysia/Singapore).

3. “Hokkaido hot-cakes”, which are stuffed with custard.

4. "Aebleskiver", Danish pancake balls filled with jam or apple sauce.

I got mine from Seoil Total Bakery System (서일) in Bangsan Market for only 15,000원.^^ Not bad.

This takoyaki pan was a good choice; but I would still recommend a tabletop model (electric takoyaki maker) over a takoyaki plate for stovetop because it's more comfortable and easy to use.
